My JK build part 1

When I bought my JKU I knew I was not going to be able to build a monster rig for several reasons. 1) I needed it to be a daily driver. 2) I had to keep it reliable and fairly fuel efficient so no 42s. 3) It could not all be done at once.

Given the constraints I have made some choices and compromises.

  • 35s until the axles have been upgraded to handle the 37s
  • 3.5” lift – Thinking RK coilovers, but might do something less until I save for this one
  • Looks like it will be Goodyear MTR Kevlar
  • 5.13 gears
  • Lockers – have not decided what lockers yet, but leaning toward Elockers from Eaton
  • PSC front and rear bumper, maybe LoD linked rear, and rocker armor
  • Winch – Still thinking about this one
  • PSC Flat Finders

Now I just have to decide what to do next.
