Why am I here?

OK, here is the deal. I had a blog a long time again. I was pretty diligent in maintaining it. I made sure I updated it with content as I thought of it and tried to constantly improve my writing. Well as we know, life can sometimes get in the way. So here I am again, starting a blog. But, with different goals this time. I am wanting to explore technology and my interests in it. This will have a slightly Linux/OpenSource slant and a strong security slant. That means you will get to follow me as I work my way through AppSec, SI/EM, indecent response and running an infosec program. I am also going to post quite a bit about my personal life. That means I am not going to pull punches! You will get it hear it all. The ups, downs, the triumphs and the shortcomings. I am striving to be honest with the reader and myself here. I really want to tackle what makes me weaker as a person and learn as I write. And hopefully you, the reader, will get to advise me and learn as well. Finally I am going to cover some fun stuff. I will talk about my motorcycle riding, my RX-8 and other fun stuff. So I invite you to tag along and bear with me. This should be a fun ride.
